Updates from the VertiGO! trial: latest developments from the research trial investigating the efficacy of the latest vestibular implant prototype
The VertiGO! trial is the most recent, currently active, trial performed by the Geneva-Maastricht group, investigating the new MED-EL vestibular implant prototype. This trial includes a total of eight participants.
Updates
- From July 2021, screening and inclusion of suitable candidates was started
- In October and December 2021, the first two participants were succesfully implanted with the new vestibular implant
